Program of Study

The COA Program of Study is like a major. Each Program of Study has a curriculum guide which provides an outline of courses required to graduate. The curriculum guide is available as a printable PDF online both in the catalog and on the Program of Study web page. Students may also access Program Evaluation in myWebAdvisor, which allows students to view and print an evaluation of their progress toward completing requirements for a program of study.

College Transfer Information

The Associate in Arts, Associate in Science, and Associate in Fine Arts degree programs are articulated curriculums through the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement with the University of North Carolina and private North Carolina colleges. If you are transferring to a four year college you need to learn about the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement (CAA) that COA has with UNC system universities and North Carolina private colleges. Visit COA's College Transfer page for more information on how to transfer from COA to a four year college in North Carolina and elsewhere.
