How to Apply

1 Choose Classes

College of The Albemarle (COA) offers Workforce Development and Career Readiness (WDCR) classes at all of our campuses.

Search Noncredit Classes

2 Contact a Staff Member

Contact a staff member at your campus to make sure the classes you’re interested in are still open.

3 Register for Classes and Submit Payment

Option 1

Complete the Workforce Development and Career Readiness registration form PDF. Email, fax, mail or hand deliver your noncredit registration form and payment to the campus where your class is located.

Option 2

Register and pay for your classes online by visiting WebAdvisor, or call to register by phone (for most classes that don’t require additional forms, documents or prerequisites). COA accepts cash, checks, money orders, MasterCard™, Discover™, American Express™ and Visa™.


If you’re sponsoring a student’s registration, you’ll need to register by phone or in person at a campus location. A sponsor can be an employer, parent, agency or anyone who’s registering a student.

Refund Policy

A full refund is provided to students who drop a class at least one day before the class start date. A 75 percent refund may be available to students who complete 10 percent or less of the class.
