COA dropped a non-conference game 11-6 at Newport News Apprentice School on April 7th. The Dolphins used 6 pitchers and played all 24 players in the game. COA took a 6-4 lead into the bottom of the 6th inning, but Newport News Apprentice used 6 hits to score 4 runs in the inning. The Builders tacked on additional runs in the 7th and 8th for the final margin. Jake Stone had two hits for the Dolphins. Ross Jarzynka was tagged with the loss in two innings of relief. COA will host The Apprentice School at Knobbs Creek Park at 3pm on Wednesday, April 14th. |
