COA Auditorium is a proscenium house with a soft pine floor, continental seating for approximately 1,000, a 24-batten single-purchase counterweight fly system (17 of which are dedicated lines; electrics, cloth goods, etc.), stage lighting and sound systems. Access to the lobby from backstage is possible only through the house or outside the building. Board operators work in a control suite located at the back of the house. Production communications are available with house Telex headset systems (wired). Production monitor systems feed the green room, dressing rooms, backstage hallway, scene shop and control rooms for show and stage manager announcements. A green room with refrigerator, stove, microwave and sink is available for use. Two chorus style dressing rooms are located backstage. Each have showers, toilets, sinks, lighted mirrors and costume racks. The loading dock offers quick and easy access to the stage.
