Refund & Withdraw Policy
Withdrawing
Students who withdraw from the college or from any courses they are enrolled in must confer with their academic advisor or a student development counselor to complete a Withdraw Form. Financial aid recipients should confer with the Office of Scholarships and Student Aid when withdrawing as withdrawing could effect future eligibility of federal aid and require the student to re-pay a percentage or all financial aid awarded during the semester of withdraw. For more information on withdrawing and repayment of federal financial aid go to Scholarships and Student Aid. The last day to withdraw from a course and recieve a full tuition refund is before the the course starts during a given semester. A 75 percent refund is available prior to or on the official 10 percent point of the class. Check the the current Registration Information Calendar on the Course Schedule page for tuition refund dates. Students who withdraw from the college or from selected courses after the refund period may withdraw without a grade penalty up to Last Day to Withdraw Without Grade Penalty listed on the colleges Academic Calendar. For withdraw and refund information see the college Registrar located in the AE Building Rm 117 on the Elizabeth City Campus or the Campus Deans at the Dare or Edenton Chowan Campuses.
