Regional Aviation and Technical Training Center

COA is developing a pool of applicants to teach Aviation Sheet Metal classes (Basic and Advanced). Requirements: experience in commercial/military aircraft or MRO. Classes will consist of teaching students blueprint reading, identification of metals/rivets/specialty fasteners, forming, heat treating, corrosion, NDI, precision measuring devices, aerodynamics and aircraft design. COA is developing a pool of part-time applicants to teach Developmental Reading and English courses at all locations – Elizabeth City Campus, Dare County Campus, and Edenton-Chowan Campus. Requirements: BA English, BA Literacy/Reading, or BS Education with 18 semester hours of  English and/or Reading coursework and teaching experience.
