Elizabeth City Campus

Developmental Chemistry Instructor needed for Spring Semester to teach Chemistry Concepts. Requirements:  bachelor’s degree in chemistry. Dare County Campus

ESL Instructors needed for Basic & Transitional Studies. Requirements: bachelor’s degree with ESL teaching experience; bilingual preferred. On-call Substitute Library Assistant -  Hours: weekday & evening shifts as needed on a call-in basis. Requirements:  associate’s degree with six months experience in a customer-service setting and experience using Microsoft Office. Duties include: maintaining good order/behavior in the library, performing item checkouts and other circulation-related tasks, assisting users in troubleshooting basic computer problems, shelving books, answering directional and basic reference questions, referring higher-level issues to regular staff, and assisting with business paperwork/record-keeping. Regional Aviation and Technical Training Center

Aviation Airframes and Power Plant Lab Assistant/Tool Room Operator | Full Description

COA is developing a pool of applicants to teach Aviation Sheet Metal classes (Basic and Advanced). Requirements: experience in commercial/military aircraft or MRO. Classes will consist of teaching students blueprint reading, identification of metals/rivets/specialty fasteners, forming, heat treating, corrosion, NDI, precision measuring devices, aerodynamics and aircraft design.
