PN Grads Achieve 100% Pass Rate

All twenty of College of The Albemarle’s Practical Nursing graduates have passed their NCLEX-PN exam on the first try. The NCLEX-PN stands for National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses. The NCLEX-PN is a computer-administered examination that the nursing graduate must take and pass to be able to practice in the role of a Practical Nurse. NCLEX examinations are designed to test the knowledge, skills and abilities essential to the safe and effective practice of nursing at the entry-level.

College of The Albemarle’s Practical Nursing Class of 2012 includes:

Camden County:  Bonnie Furman Gardner and Melissa Ann Mitchell

Chowan County:  Ashley Danielle Byrum, Charity Copeland King, Colbi Marie Spruce

Dare County:  Courtney Lynn Cahoon, Jacklynn Suzanne Deiss, Winborne Harrell Evans, Cynthia Lynne Neal, Victor Wayne Nobles, and Brandi Serena Surrency.

Pasquotank County:  Judy Wynne Ballard, Sade’ Sabella Lewis, Amber Lynn McKinney, Amanda Nicole Songer, Brien C. Spence, and Sheketa Renee White

Perquimans County:  Amanda Mosley Byrum and Susan Michelle Martin

Tyrrell:  Emily Nicole McNair
