College of The Albemarle’s Edenton-Chowan Campus hosted an Early College/Tech Prep Career Exploration event in partnership with Edenton-Chowan Public Schools and the Edenton Chowan Chamber of Commerce.  The event was attended by students from Chowan Middle School and John A. Holmes High School. There were many presentations made concerning 16 career clusters with an estimated 300 participants to tour COA’s campus locations. All were impressed with the facilities and program offerings.
 

In addition to the career exploration component, a luncheon was hosted by College of The Albemarle’s Culinary students. The luncheon topic was facilitated by the Edenton-Chowan Chamber of Commerce and the Northeast North Carolina Commission.  Career Cluster facilitators consisting of business/ government/community leaders, public school teachers, and counselors and post-secondary education faculty and staff attended this free luncheon.
