College of The Albemarle is getting ready to enroll students for Fall Semester classes and they’re expecting a crowd! As compared to last year, early registration figures show a 20% increase in enrollment, applications to the college are up 10% and financial aid applications received weekly are up 60%.

The registration schedule at all campus locations (Elizabeth City, Edenton-Chowan, and Dare County) is as follows:

July 12 Registration COA Sophomore students only 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

July 13 Registration COA Sophomore and Returning students only 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

July 14 Registration New students only with last names beginning with M – Z
Required Orientation 9:00 AM (Dare & Elizabeth City)

July 15 Registration New students only with last names beginning with A – L

Required Orientation 9:00 AM (Dare & Elizabeth City)

July 19 – 22 Registration All Students 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Aug 4 – 20 Registration 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (Mon – Thur.) 8:30 AM – 4 PM (Fri)

College is closed August 6, 13, and 17

August 23 Fall Semester begins. Registration only for classes that have not met 8:30 AM – 7 PM

NOTE: All tuition and fees must be paid at the time of registration.

To have a successful registration, potential students are encouraged to complete a COA application, review the programs of study, have all official transcripts sent to COA, take COA’s placement test at no charge, and research ways to pay tuition and fees at registration. Many of these items can be found on COA’s website at www.albemarle.edu.
