College Transfer Scholarships

Scholarships for transfer students are available at most four year colleges. Some colleges have developed special transfer scholarships for community college students who have excelled academically. There are a few national scholarship programs for transfer students but most are limited to outstanding students. North Carolina offers some scholarships for North Carolina students at CFNC.org. Transfer students are encouraged use a national scholarship search engine online like www.fastweb.com.

The following links will provide you with most of the scholarship resources for students transferring to a four year college. Please keep in mind that every college has specific scholarships for differrent majors, some even have grant funding for certain programs. If the college you want to transfer to is not listed below do not assume they do not offer scholarships, go to their web site, or call them directly, as every college offers some merit and need based scholarships. Keep in mind the best source of money for college is federal finacial aid available at www.fafsa.ed.gov. The next best source is the four year college!
