Health Services

College of The Albemarle does not have an elaborate system of health services. In an emergency, a college representative will call 9-1-1, who dispatches the appropriate service. A cost may be incurred by a student when Emergency Medical Services are used. First aid kits are available for student use at the reception desks and in selected laboratories. The college does not assume responsibility for the administration of first aid. Further information and procedures for handling accidents and emergencies are included in the college’s Policy and Procedure Manual.
