Transcripts
All requests must include the following:
- Your first, middle, and last name
- Your approximate dates of attendance
- Your complete COA ID number or the last four digits of your Social Security Number
- Your signature
Official Transcripts
College of The Albemarle has a $5.00 fee for each official transcript. To request a transcript you may:
- Come in person to the Student Development Office at any COA Campus to make the request and pay the fee. We accept cash, check, or credit card (Visa/MasterCard).
- Mail a request to:

The College does not:
Accept e-mailed transcript requests
Accept faxed transcripts from other institutions as official
Fax transcripts to other institutions or students
Every effort will be made to process official transcript requests one business day after the request has been received.
Unofficial Transcripts
Students may access an unofficial copy of their transcript through Campus Cruiser/MyWebAdvisor for up to one year after their last semester at COA ends.
GED Transcripts (FREE)
To request a GED transcript or duplicate diploma a student must complete a request form. The form must be faxed or mailed to Raleigh by the requestor. There is no fee for a GED transcript. Click here to download the form. You may also visit one of COA's Basic Skills Departments and pick one up.
AHS Transcript (FREE)
Adult High School (AHS) diploma transcripts will be mailed when requested in writing by the student. Please include your name, social security number, date of birth, and a current telephone number.
