Crumley Roberts Next Step Scholarship

The firm will award three (3) $2500 scholarships to a Community College student who will be transferring to an accredited 4 year college or university in fall 2013 The deadline for applying for the Next-Step scholarship is March 15th, and winners will be announced on or around May 1, 2013.

Scholarship Guidelines

The North Carolina Foundation for Soil and Water Conservation’s Scholarship Program was established to increase the number of qualified people committed to working in the field of natural resource management or other closely related fields that directly support the programs offered by local soil and water conservation districts in North Carolina.  Scholarship recipients will be those who are currently pursuing or have firm plans to pursue a college course of study leading to a Bachelor of Science degree in natural resource management or other closely related fields.

 

Virginia Dare BPW Education Scholarship opportunity for women

The deadline for all Applications is March 22, 2013. The criteria for applying for this scholarship are as follows: Applicant must be female, aged 25 or older; live in Dare, or Currituck Counties; and be a U.S. Citizen. Applicant must be working or re-entering the work force, be able to show financial need, and have planned career goals. Applicant may enroll in the educational institution of her choice. Women’s Association of Duck Woods Country Club (WADWCC) Memorial Scholarship

Scholarship Guidelines

The WADWCC Memorial Scholarship is awarded annually to honor the memory of deceased members to recognize the importance of education and life-long learning and to support the organization’s commitment to help needy members of the local community. The scholarship is intended to assist a student whose post-secondary education has been interrupted or delayed.
