College of The Albemarle’s (COA) Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) graduating class of 2019 achieved a 100 percent pass rate on the National Council Licensing Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX RN) this year.
“Becoming a registered nurse is a difficult and life changing process,” said Robin Harris, Dean, Health Sciences and Wellness programs. “These 28 students have put forward a tremendous amount of hard work, sacrifice and dedication over the past several years to reach this wonderful achievement. Their commitment to learn the art and science of nursing is now rewarded with their licensure and we are so proud of these compassionate and well-qualified new registered nurses entering our communities to care for those in need and help us all be healthier.”
COA is proud of the graduates and their hard work to reach this important milestone and equally proud of our ADN program faculty who work so diligently to prepare our students for their future career.
