
College of The Albemarle (COA) is pleased to announce study abroad travel plans for Costa Rica in 2024. The trip is scheduled during spring break, March 30 through April 7, 2024. The itinerary includes visits to San José, Coastal Puntarenas, Manuel Antonio National Park, and Arenal Volcano National Park. Planned activities include community volunteer opportunities, canopy zipline tours, a Bio Coffee Adventure, kayaking, a hot springs visit and whitewater rafting.
College of The Albemarle will hold an informational meeting regarding the trip to Costa Rica on Monday, April 3, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. via Zoom. The meeting is open to COA students, employees and the general public. The meeting will provide additional information on the itinerary, travel plans, cost and associated fees, lodging and more. College of The Albemarle students will be given priority for the trip; however, space is typically available for employees and others to participate.
