Yellow passion flower (Passiflora lutea)

Description

The Yellow passion flower is a hardy herbaceous perennial climbing vine with small greenish-yellow or lighter flowers that blooms summer to fall. It has green to grayish three-lobed leaves that are wider than they are long. The Yellow passion flower grows best in full sun in moist well-drained soil. Berries are food for birds and mammals. Many pollinators, such as butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds, visit this plant. It is used in gardens, often on trellises.
