Due to COVID-19, students are strongly encouraged to order electronic transcripts online. If you cannot order online, please complete this form.
Please include the following when requesting transcripts:
- Your first, middle and last name
- Your approximate dates of attendance
- Your College of The Albemarle (COA) identification number or last four digits of your Social Security number
- Your signature
COA charges a $5 fee for each official transcript. To order a transcript online, visit the transcript ordering center.
To request transcripts in person, visit the Admissions Office on any campus. We accept cash, checks and credit cards (MasterCard™, Discover™, American Express™ and Visa™). You may also fax your request to 252-331-2442 or mail your request to:

When paying by mail, please include a check or money order for $5. To pay by credit card, please provide your daytime phone number so that our Business Office can call you for your credit card information. Any financial hold will prevent us from fulfilling your transcript request.
Every effort will be made to process official transcript requests within two to three business days after the request has been received.
You may access an unofficial copy of your transcript through myService for up to one year after the end of your last semester at COA.
