College of The Albemarle (COA) is pleased to present “Handmade Here,” an exhibition by COA – Dare Continuing Education students and instructors. Works include pottery, painting, jewelry and mixed media by emerging and established artists.
The exhibition opens on Nov. 12 at the COA – Dare Art Gallery, located on the second floor of B Building, 205 U.S. Highway 64, Manteo. An opening reception will be held on Nov. 12, from 1 to 3 p.m.

“The artwork created in our professional craft and fine art studios at COA–Dare reflects the remarkable skill and rich creative vision of our students and instructors,” said Fay Edwards, COA Workforce Development and Career Readiness Coordinator. “Each piece tells a story of exploration and growth, and we are thrilled to share this with the community with ‘Handmade Here.’”

The exhibition will remain on display through Friday, Dec. 12, with gallery hours Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public.
