ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. – College of The Albemarle (COA) held a pinning ceremony for its 2025 Surgical Technology graduates on Monday, Dec. 15. The ceremony recognized students as they completed the program and prepared to enter the healthcare workforce.
During the ceremony, graduates were presented with their surgical technology pins and recited the Pledge of the Surgical Technologist. Academic Recognition Awards were also presented to students who earned a grade point average of 3.5 or higher. This year’s recipients were Baylee Morton and Jazmin Williams.
The graduating class included Karlie Banks, Pasquotank County; Haley Barker, Camden County; Rose Ellison, Camden County; Sophia Fennimore, Currituck County; Myna Fox, Currituck County; Jenna Ide, Gates County; Sarai Leigh, Chowan County; Baylee Morton, Gates County; Tara Sinsel, Currituck County; Faith Wessel, Currituck County; and Jazmin Williams, Camden County.
