Overview

As a Marine Diesel Engine Mechanic, you’ll work to repair, reconstruct and maintain marine engines, marine machinery and related equipment. Instructors place emphasis on safety, diagnosis of problems, inspection, measuring, and rebuilding and repairing diesel engines according to factory specifications. Students will also be introduced to preliminary fabrication, parts ordering and inventory, and shop/lab best practices. Fee includes required textbook. All classes are held in Manns Harbor.
