The College of The Albemarle Foundation is pleased to announce a new transfer scholarship opportunity for graduates of the College of The Albemarle.
For the 2026–27 academic year, the Foundation will award four $12,000 scholarships. Scholarship funds will be paid directly to the receiving institution.
Jewel and Lee Davenport Post Graduate Scholarship
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be an upcoming or previous graduate of the College of The Albemarle (COA) who either received the Jewel and Lee Davenport Endowed Scholarship or graduated from one of the following high schools: Camden County High School, Columbia High School, Pasquotank County High School, or Northeastern High School.
- Be an upcoming or previous graduate of COA who plans to transfer to North Carolina State University to continue their education, or plans to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at a college or university within the University of North Carolina System.
Application Requirements
Applicants must submit:
- A completed PDF scholarship application
- A copy of their unofficial COA transcript
- A complete list of community service, leadership, and extracurricular activities
- A required 350-500-word essay submitted separately as a Word document or PDF file

Completed applications and supporting materials must be submitted to the College of The Albemarle Foundation no later than April 15, 2026.
